Who we are

Closet Detail designs, builds and installs custom closets, kitchens and storage in South Florida from our own workshop in Medley, Miami-Dade. This website is ours, and the contact details at the bottom of this page reach us directly.

What we collect when you fill out the form

Our contact form asks for your name, your phone number, how you would rather be contacted, the space you want to transform, and optionally your email. That is all we ask for, and every field you fill in is a field you chose to fill in.

• Name. So we know who we are talking to.
• Phone number. So we can call, text or WhatsApp you to schedule your measure.
• Contact preference. So we reach you the way you asked to be reached.
• The space you want to transform. So the designer who calls you already knows what your project is about.
• Email, optional. Used to send your estimate or design if you prefer it in writing.

We use this information to answer you, to prepare a free estimate made to your space, and to follow up about that project. We do not add you to a newsletter you did not ask for.

What happens technically when you submit

The site is hosted on Netlify, and our forms are handled by Netlify Forms, so your submission passes through and is stored by that service before it reaches us. When a form is submitted we also send Google Ads a hashed version of the contact details you entered, so Google can attribute the lead to the ad you clicked. Hashing happens in your own browser, which means the readable version of those details is not what travels to Google.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read, and Google Ads to measure which of our ads bring people here. Both set cookies in your browser and both may record your approximate location, your device and how you moved through the site. We look at that data to improve the site and to spend our advertising budget sensibly, not to build a profile of you as a person.

We also record when someone clicks our phone number, our WhatsApp link or our email address, because those clicks tell us which contact method people actually prefer.

You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings at any time. The site works without them, though our measurement will simply not see your visit.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information, and we do not rent, trade or hand it to data brokers or to other companies for their own marketing. The people who see your form submission are the Closet Detail team who work on your project.

Who else touches your data

Only the services that make the site work: Netlify, which hosts the site and receives the forms, and Google, through Analytics and Ads as described above. We may also use ordinary business tools such as email and phone to talk to you about your project.

How long we keep it

We keep project enquiries for as long as they are useful for the work: to prepare your estimate, to build and install your project, and to answer you if you come back to us later about it. If you want it gone sooner, tell us and we will remove it.

How to ask us to delete your information

Write to clostdetail@gmail.com or call (786) 828-2399 and ask us to delete your information. Tell us the name and phone number you used so we can find the right record. You can also ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct something that is wrong.

Children

This site is for people looking to build cabinetry in their home. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site collects or uses information, we will update this page. The version you are reading is the one in force.
