What everyone asks first.
Is the measure and estimate free?
Yes. The consultation, the measure and the estimate are free and carry no obligation. We come to your home or meet virtually, take the real measurements of your space and give you an estimate made to your project.
Do you manufacture or resell?
We manufacture. Closet Detail is the direct manufacturer and installer: we cut on our own CNC in our Miami workshop, edge band, assemble and quality check every piece before it ships to your home. No resellers and no subcontractors in between.
Is the team that builds it the same one that installs it?
Yes. Our own crews handle installation, nothing is subcontracted. So if a wall is out of plumb or something needs adjusting on site, it gets solved right there by the same people who are accountable for it.
How long will my project take?
It depends on the scope and the materials you choose. What we do give you is a firm date when the design is approved, not a vague window: you know when it gets built and when it gets installed before you commit.
Do you work in condos and high rises?
Yes. We work in houses, condos and towers across South Florida, and we are used to coordinating access, service elevators and work hours with building management.
Who comes into my home on installation day?
Our own installation crew, not subcontractors. They are the same people who work with us every day, they come identified, and we tell you in advance who is coming and at what time. If you need the visit within a specific window, we coordinate it.
What happens if something goes wrong after installation?
We handle it. Because we build and install with our own team, there is no third party to chase: you call the same number and we come out. Any later adjustment is handled by the same people who did the work.
Do I need a permit or condo approval?
For closets and cabinetry that do not move plumbing, electrical or ventilation, a permit is usually not required, but each municipality and each association has its own rules. Many buildings do ask for a certificate of insurance, vendor registration and a service elevator reservation. We handle that paperwork with building management, and if your case needs anything more, we tell you before we start.
What else do you build besides closets?
Kitchens, pantries, home offices, media walls and living rooms, laundry rooms, garages, wall beds and commercial spaces. Many clients start with a closet and come back for the kitchen, because the same team already knows their home and their taste.
