The building side is its own project. Brickell Key and the Brickell Avenue towers run vendor approvals, insurance certificates naming the association, reserved service elevators and restricted delivery windows, and many restrict what can be drilled and where. We anchor into walls rather than into structural slabs, we confirm the wall construction at the measure, and we size every module to fit your building service elevator and corridor before a panel is cut. Everything is machined on our CNC in Medley and assembled in your unit, so the loud, dusty part of the job never enters the tower. Design in 3D, approve it, then we build it.

How much storage can you realistically add to a Brickell studio or one bedroom?
Usually far more than the unit came with, because builder closets rarely use more than about half the available wall height. The three biggest gains are double hanging, drawers built into the closet instead of a freestanding dresser, and shelving carried to the ceiling for the things you touch twice a year. In a small unit the second gain is often the most valuable, because removing a dresser gives back floor space you can actually feel. What the total comes to depends on your ceiling height and on what you own, which is what the consultation is for.
Can you anchor a closet in a Brickell condo without drilling into the structure?
We anchor into walls, not into structural slabs or ceilings, which is what most towers require anyway. Interior walls in a Brickell condo can be drywall over metal studs, concrete block or poured concrete, and each takes a different fastener, so our crew identifies the wall construction at the measure rather than improvising on install day. If your building has specific restrictions on drilling, give them to us in writing with the rest of the building rules and we design to them.
My Brickell unit has no real closet at all. What are the options?
A built-in wardrobe wall is usually the answer, and it is a different piece than a closet. Instead of retrofitting a shallow alcove, we build a full depth run against a solid wall with doors, so it functions as a closet while reading as cabinetry in the room. It can be finished to disappear into the wall or treated as a feature, and it can absorb a section of shelving or a small desk at one end. This is one of the most common requests we get in older Brickell buildings and in converted units.
Do you build home offices and media walls for Brickell condos?
Yes, and in Brickell they are frequently the same piece. A one bedroom that has to work as an office too does better with a single integrated wall that carries the television, the storage and a work surface than with three separate pieces of furniture crowding a small living room. Because it comes off the same CNC and the same design file as your closet, the finishes match across the apartment. It also gets built to your ceiling height rather than to a furniture catalog standard.
